Schoolnite.net is Delaware’s gathering place for families. It is an educational, informational, and yes, entertainment web site for parents, teachers and students of all ages. It is a place to learn, to share, to have fun, and to celebrate our First State.
We will keep a close eye on what is working best in Delaware’s schools and we will celebrate the hard work and successes of our teachers and students. We will also feature interesting and successful people and places in Delaware, remembering that successful education leads to successful and fulfilling lives.
Lifetime learning is now not simply a goal, it is a necessity…. and we should all be very happy. Whether we are learning new material as a 1st grader, a high school student or at age 75, we become better people when we acquire knowledge at any age. Schoolnite.net will assist in our lifetime learning efforts.
Delaware’s small size is a great advantage in educating our children. Discovering and quickly sharing the best educational methods and resources to aid all students is something educators in our state are good at, and this site will hopefully help our teachers become even more effective in their work.
Finally, learning is fun. Similar to how we cannot put a good book down, when a classroom is working properly students cannot wait to be there. Kids want to learn, to be challenged, to excel to the best of their ability. We will try to help parents and teachers create that environment that makes kids want to learn… want to excel… and want to achieve all that they are capable of achieving.
Just as all good students and educators evolve and grow over time always striving to reach their potential, so too will this website. I invite any and all suggestions as our team continually works to make schoolnite.net a place every Delawarean visits on a regular basis.
